AT A GLANCE
What Amberfield Brings to the Table
From the way we staff our facility to the way we keep families informed, these are the things that matter most to the people who choose us.
Qualified, caring staff
Every staff member is credentialed and selected for their patience and temperament, not just their qualifications.
Individualised care plans
No two residents are the same. Each person's care is shaped around their lifestyle, health and family preferences.
Open family communication
Monthly health reports, prompt contact when anything changes, and an open line for families at any time.
Home-like environment
Our Subang Jaya facility is designed for comfort, not efficiency — natural light, social spaces and familiar rhythms.
Clear, upfront pricing
We share all fees at the start. No hidden charges, no ambiguous extras — just a straightforward service agreement.
Flexible service combinations
Our three services can be used independently or together. As needs evolve, the arrangement can too.
EXPERTISE
A team that knows elderly care deeply
Amberfield has been operating in Subang Jaya since 2011. Our senior staff have backgrounds in geriatric nursing, rehabilitation and chronic disease management. We do not rely on agency workers for core care roles — most of our team have been with us for more than three years.
- Registered nurses on site daily
- Certified first aid and emergency response training
- Ongoing development in geriatric care practice

OF RESIDENTS RECEIVE A WRITTEN CARE PLAN
PROCESS
Care that is planned, not improvised
Before a resident joins Amberfield, we conduct a detailed needs assessment. The resulting care plan documents daily routines, health conditions, dietary needs and family communication preferences. It is reviewed quarterly or whenever circumstances change.
- Initial needs assessment before admission
- Family involvement at every review
- Plans updated as health and needs evolve
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Families feel involved, not left out
A common concern for families choosing residential care is feeling disconnected. At Amberfield, we work to keep that from happening. Monthly written reports, a direct phone line to the care team, and a clear process for raising concerns or requesting updates mean families stay part of the picture.
- Monthly health and wellbeing reports
- Prompt contact when anything changes
- Open visits during office hours

HOW WE COMPARE
Amberfield vs. Typical Care Providers
Many elderly care facilities in Malaysia offer adequate standards on paper. Here is where the day-to-day experience tends to differ.
| FEATURE | TYPICAL PROVIDER | AMBERFIELD |
|---|---|---|
| Individual care plan on admission | Sometimes | |
| Monthly written family reports | Rarely | |
| Fees published and itemised upfront | Often unclear | |
| Care plan reviewed when needs change | Annual only | |
| Night Watch as standalone service | Uncommon | |
| GP coordination included in health monitoring | Extra charge |
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
Things you will not find everywhere
Standalone overnight service
The Night Watch Service is available for home-based elderly clients in Selangor — not only for residents of our facility. This is uncommon among care providers in the region.
Health reports shared with families
Our Health Monitoring Retainer includes written monthly summaries sent directly to designated family members, so everyone stays informed without having to chase for updates.
GP coordination built in
We liaise with each resident's primary care physician as part of the health monitoring service. You do not need to manage that coordination yourself.
Dietary accommodation included
Meals under the Personal Care Suite are adapted to each resident's dietary requirements — diabetic, low-sodium, soft food and other common needs are handled as standard.
No lock-in for ancillary services
The Night Watch Service and Health Monitoring Retainer are available month-to-month. Families can adjust or stop these services with reasonable notice, without penalties.
Open-door visits for families
We do not restrict family visits to scheduled slots. Families are welcome during office hours and can also request private spaces for celebrations or longer gatherings.
