WHO WE ARE
A home built on warmth, not routine
Amberfield started in 2011 when a small group of care professionals in Subang Jaya wanted to change how elderly support was delivered locally. Too many care environments felt clinical — focused on tasks rather than people. We set out to build something different: a place with the feel of a family home, staffed by people who genuinely enjoy spending time with the elderly.
Over the years, our team has grown and our services have expanded, but the core of what we do has not changed. Each resident is known by name, and each care plan is shaped around an individual — their preferences, their routines, their family context.
Today we support residents in our Subang Jaya facility and provide outreach services to elderly individuals living at home across Selangor. Families trust us because we communicate openly, involve them at every stage, and never treat care as a transaction.

Our Leadership Team
Linda Ng
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Registered nurse with 22 years in geriatric care. Linda founded Amberfield after spending years working in hospital wards and wanting to create a more personal model of elder support.
Rajan Annamalai
HEAD OF CARE SERVICES
Trained in geriatric rehabilitation, Rajan oversees daily care operations and staff training. He has worked in residential care settings across Selangor for over 14 years.
Siti Wahida
HEALTH MONITORING LEAD
A registered nurse specialising in chronic disease management, Siti coordinates all health monitoring services, physician liaisons and family health reporting at Amberfield.
HOW WE WORK
Our Care Standards
Every aspect of care at Amberfield is governed by clear standards. Not because it is required, but because our residents and their families deserve consistency they can count on.
Licensed & Registered Staff
All nursing and care staff hold current certifications and are registered with the appropriate Malaysian professional bodies. We verify credentials before any staff member begins working with residents.
Individual Care Plans
Every resident has a care plan developed with input from the family and, where possible, the resident themselves. Plans are reviewed regularly and updated as needs change.
Safety Protocols
Fall prevention measures, emergency response procedures and medication administration protocols are reviewed annually by our clinical team. Staff training on these protocols is ongoing.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Resident health records and personal information are handled with strict confidentiality in line with Malaysian data protection requirements. Information is only shared with authorised family members.
Regular Family Communication
Families receive monthly health reports and are contacted promptly if anything requires their attention. We maintain an open-door policy for questions and visits during office hours.
Continuous Staff Development
Staff attend structured training sessions throughout the year covering geriatric care best practices, dementia awareness, first aid, and communication with elderly residents and families.
Elderly care in Subang Jaya, tailored to the individual
Amberfield has operated in Subang Jaya since 2011, providing residential care and home-based support to elderly individuals across the Selangor region. Our facility on Jalan USJ 9/5T was purpose-designed for comfort — not medical efficiency — with wide corridors, natural light and spaces that encourage social engagement without feeling institutional.
We work with elderly men and women who need varying levels of support: from those who are largely independent but benefit from structured daily care and meal services, to individuals with more complex needs requiring ongoing health monitoring and overnight supervision. Our three core services — Personal Care Suite, Night Watch Service and Health Monitoring Retainer — can be used individually or in combination.
Families in Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Klang and surrounding areas have placed their trust in Amberfield because we communicate clearly, never disappear after sign-up, and treat the elderly with the patience they deserve.
